The Lens and the Looker (Book #1 of The Verona Trilogy)
As much as I enjoyed the last novel, I think that this one was even better. I was on the edge of my seat for most of the novel.
I loved how well it flowed and how many twists and turns there were. Kaufman is truly amazing at developing his characters into real people.gerbcompdemky.ml

The book certainly did not end how I expected — which is a good thing. I loved reading about the daily life of the people of Verona and its outskirts, the palace life, how things were dealt with by the Podesta, and it certainly gives you an insight into why the nobles did some of the things they did or made some of the decisions they made. Loved this , a good twist on a time travel theme. Really enjoyed the twists, can highly recommend this Waiting for book two eagerly!
